Adrian — 1

Adrian — 2

Character design (from PFP)

  • adrian0 — Realistic head-and-shoulders portrait: Light skinned Mexican-American male, SoCal Chicano style. Early twenties, very full brown curly hair, small hoop earrings, mole on one cheek, crisp white collared jacket over black shirt; flat purple field with narrow orange vertical strips at the sides (classic stream UI portrait read).

  • Signature prop (canon): a green sword—the literal, rendered-as-physical-object form of the Twitch mod icon. It is the ceremonial weapon of the mod rank in this universe, unique to whoever holds the badge. Adrian wears it on his hip at all times, in a plain leather sheath. He almost never draws it; the mere presence of the sword is the rank-tell. Others in the chorus cannot touch it, pick it up, or imitate it—it is visibly his, the way the badge itself is. In shots where his mod seniority matters (verdicts, corrections, ceremonial moments), his hand rests casually on the pommel. Color note: keep the green saturated and slightly alert, matching the Twitch mod-shield hue; the blade should catch light in a way that reads as a UI element made metal.

  • Carriage (canon): Posture reads disinterested—shoulders loose, weight on one leg, hands in pockets, off hand resting on the pommel. But his eyes never stop working. They scan entries and exits, track who is talking to whom, clock tells half a beat before anyone else in the room does. The bored-looking posture is a deliberate shell; he is never actually bored. Any shot of Adrian holding still should treat the eyes as the live wire. Especially true during the arc-on-the-sand-floor and all three rounds—his body parks, his attention doesn't.

Character Read

Adrian reads like an old-guard regular: relaxed, conversational, and fully embedded in the room's internal language. He can slide from real-life updates to nonsense riffs without changing tone, which makes him feel less like a heckler and more like someone who already lives inside the show's universe. Even when he is being absurd, he is rarely random. The vibe is seasoned, familiar, and socially plugged in.

He feels like someone who can banter, lore-dump, greet other regulars, and casually anchor a conversation. That gives him a useful story shape: not the loudest demon in the room, but one of the creatures most likely to survive because he already understands the rhythm of everybody else's madness.

Two dials in parallel. Nonchalant carriage, always-on attention. He reads as disinterested—and is never actually bored. The shell and the core run independently: his body parks, his eyes keep moving, and he clocks tells half a beat before anyone else notices them. Do not mistake the slouch for absence.

Register. Always down for an intellectually rigorous discussion; he will happily drop into long-form when a conversation earns it. Also genuinely capable of play when the room is playing well. Not a mood-swinger—just legitimately present at whatever register the moment calls for.

Field literacy. Adrian is a veteran troll. He has put in the hours on every tool of the trade and carries the field knowledge to match. He doesn't romanticize it, but he knows exactly what someone is doing the moment they do it, and he'll clock it silently long before the room notices. This is central to how he reads Ubear (see Relationships).

Cultural register. Chicano, SoCal-raised, but never landed fluent Spanish; has been castigated as "whitewashed" in some quarters. He has thoughts about it, mostly dry ones, and it informs his comfort with deadpan distance when cultural expectations are applied as pressure. Treat it as texture, not a plot hook—one of the reasons his humor lives in the flat-delivered one-liner rather than the broad performance.

Discord DM layer (Raincloud): Off-stream, Adrian is not a “short-ack” confidant—his mean line length sits well above the Agate dyad in the same export format, closer to substantive texting while still casual. A long 2017 → early 2026 thread with Rain shows roughly even traffic (slightly more from Adrian in header count) and a very high rate of voice-call events versus the Agate log—this reads as friendship through voice and logistics, not only async chat. Automated theme passes (regex buckets on extractable text, directional only) skew toward feelings, IRL life, Discord/voice/meta, creative work, and games, with politics and identity/gender appearing less often than in the Agate export. Story takeaway: Adrian is one of Rains long-haul anchors—the courtier energy in chat is backed by years of private continuity and real co-presence (calls), so he can tease the sovereign in public without it scanning as performative disrespect.

Battle Royale Function

Adrian fits best as a veteran survivor: observant, weirdly adaptable, and dangerous because he sounds calm while the room catches fire.

Identity

  • Age / maturity: Slightly older than Rain, with a steady and comparatively mature presence.
  • Sex / gender: Male.
  • Sexuality: Straight.
  • Heritage / language: Chicano, SoCal-raised. Never landed fluent Spanish; has been called "whitewashed" in some quarters. Handles the friction dryly in public; privately, it colors his comfort with outsider-inside roles and his preference for flat, un-performed humor.
  • Notes: Senior mod in rank, peer (not servant) in his relationship with Rain. See Regard for Raincloud.

Relationships

Adrian reads like an old courtier who can move between cliques without fully belonging to any one of them. With Azure he has familiar banter and a long baseline of tolerance. With Starboy and Beanie he is comfortable without becoming as emotionally entangled as some of the others.

Ubear (specific read). Adrian knows the trade by heart. He has been a working troll in his day, and knows every tool in Ubear's kit from the inside. He respects the trade. He does not respect the creature. Two reasons:

  1. Ubear's mixed antagonism toward Rain has soured him in Adrian's sight. Adrian doesn't take Rain's side on principle—he takes it because Rain is a peer, and Adrian doesn't tolerate cheap shots at a peer.
  2. He finds Ubear's aggressive, often meandering mannerisms tiresome on their own merits. The performance is exhausting even when the technique underneath is competent.

The two can discuss tooling with mutual literacy; the social temperature is cold. In-scene, Adrian's Ubear beats should read as clinical recognition, never warmth—and when Ubear crosses a line (as in Round 3), Adrian is the one person in the room who was never going to be surprised.

Raincloud (private): See Discord DM reference—multi-year DM + heavy voice-call history with Rain. Continuity predates and outlasts any single stream arc; use it when you need Adrian to know the person under the performance without expository monologue.

Regard for Raincloud

Read him as an equal, not a subordinate. Adrian is not in Rain's orbit as a courtier or a servant. He is here because their paths run parallel and their continued association is rationally self-interested on both sides—they enjoy each other's company, they sharpen each other in conversation, they trust each other's judgement. If Adrian didn't want to be here, he wouldn't be. If Rain ever tried to command him, he'd be gone that afternoon. What looks like deference in public is actually consent: Adrian agrees to the structural role of "senior mod," and he agrees to step onto the floor today, because Rain asked and he concurred—not because Rain ordered.

The teasing and familiarity in chat are not permission granted by a sovereign; they are the default register between two people who regard each other as peers. The repeated Raincloud variants, identity jokes, and application-style bits are equal-footing banter, not petitioning. He is in the room because the room is worth his time.

The DM archive supports the peer framing: long-form private continuity, heavy voice-call history, years of real co-presence. Adrian is a co-equal time sink for Rain, not a fan waiting for scraps. When he steps forward to pin Azure's badge, he does it because Rain asked and he agreed—the mod rank is a structural role, not a leash. Rain is a peer who happens to run the show; the show is where Adrian happens to enjoy being.

Discord DM reference (Raincloud ↔ Adrian)

  • File (local, do not commit): c:\Users\Nathan\Downloads\Direct Messages - Adrian [348650389823946755].html — Tyrrrz DiscordChatExporter-style HTML.
  • Span: first header 2017-08-19 → last in export 2026-04-18 (treat end date as export snapshot, not story canon clock).
  • Volume: ~4,663 user messages with author headers (~2,341 Adrian / ~2,322 RaincloudTheDragon); ~4,068 with extractable text in markdown-preserve (rest emoji / embed-only / HTML edge cases).
  • Voice: ~340 “started a call that lasted …” events in export — primary dyad signal vs the Agate thread (text-first).
  • Length (proxy): Adrian ~98 chars/message mean vs Rain ~142 on extractable text — Rain still more verbose; Adrian still full-sentence private, unlike Agates staccato layer.
  • Theme hits (approximate): feelings ~277 · Discord/voice/meta ~243 · IRL life ~205 · art/create ~175 · games ~111 · politics ~28 · identity/gender ~27 — use as texture, not scoring.
  • Use: writer / continuity only; keep raw export out of the repo.
