Appearance

Physical Attributes

  • Height:
  • Weight:
  • Build: Relaxed posture; weight on one leg; hands in pockets
  • Hair Color: Brown
  • Hair Style: Very full, curly
  • Eye Color:
  • Skin Tone: Light (Mexican-American)
  • Distinguishing Marks: Mole on one cheek; small hoop earrings

Identity (physical-form)

  • Sex: Male
  • Age: Early twenties (slightly older than Rain); maturity reads steady, comparatively mature
  • Birth Year:
  • Birth Place: SoCal
  • Ethnicity: Chicano / Mexican-American (SoCal-raised)
  • Nationality: American

Production (physical-form)

  • Dominant Hand:
  • Accent / Dialect: SoCal / Chicano-inflected English; never landed fluent Spanish (has been called "whitewashed" in some quarters — handles it dryly)
  • Voice Quality: Flat, deadpan, dry — humor lives in the flat-delivered one-liner, not broad performance
  • Gait / Movement: Nonchalant, slouched, deliberately bored-looking carriage. Body parks; eyes never stop working. The slouch is a shell.

Physical Description

Realistic head-and-shoulders read: light-skinned Mexican-American male, SoCal Chicano style, early twenties. Very full brown curly hair, small hoop earrings, mole on one cheek, crisp white collared jacket over black shirt. Classic stream-UI portrait was a flat purple field with narrow orange vertical strips at the sides.

On the gauntlet floor: posture reads disinterested — shoulders loose, weight on one leg, hands in pockets, off hand resting on the pommel of the green sword. Eyes scan entries/exits, track who is talking to whom, clock tells half a beat before anyone else in the room does. The bored-looking posture is a deliberate shell; he is never actually bored. Any shot of Adrian holding still should treat the eyes as the live wire.

Wardrobe

Costume Notes

Crisp white collared jacket over black shirt, casual fit. Neither dressed up nor dressed down. The green sword is the load-bearing wardrobe item.

Accessories & Props

  • Green sword (canonical) — the literal, rendered-as-physical-object form of the Twitch mod icon. Ceremonial weapon of the mod rank in this universe, unique to whoever holds the badge. Worn on his hip at all times in a plain leather sheath. Almost never drawn; the mere presence is the rank-tell. Others in the chorus cannot touch it, pick it up, or imitate it. In shots where mod seniority matters (verdicts, corrections, ceremonial moments), his hand rests casually on the pommel. Keep the green saturated and slightly alert (Twitch mod-shield hue); blade catches light like a UI element made metal.
  • Small hoop earrings

Identity

Personality

Old-guard regular: relaxed, conversational, and fully embedded in the room's internal language. Slides from real-life updates to nonsense riffs without changing tone — feels less like a heckler and more like someone who already lives inside the show's universe. Even when being absurd, rarely random. Seasoned, familiar, socially plugged in.

Two dials in parallel. Nonchalant carriage, always-on attention. He reads as disinterested — and is never actually bored. Shell and core run independently; his body parks, his eyes keep moving, and he clocks tells half a beat before anyone else notices. Do not mistake the slouch for absence.

Register. Always down for an intellectually rigorous discussion; will happily drop into long-form when a conversation earns it. Also genuinely capable of play when the room is playing well. Not a mood-swinger — legitimately present at whatever register the moment calls for.

Field literacy. A veteran troll. Has put in the hours on every tool of the trade and carries the field knowledge to match. Doesn't romanticize it; knows exactly what someone is doing the moment they do it, and will clock it silently long before the room notices. Central to how he reads Ubear.

Cultural register. Chicano texture — dry comfort with deadpan distance when cultural expectations are applied as pressure. One of the reasons humor lives in the flat-delivered one-liner.

Background / Backstory

Senior mod in rank, peer (not servant) in his relationship with Rain. Their paths run parallel; their continued association is rationally self-interested on both sides. If Adrian didn't want to be here, he wouldn't be. If Rain ever tried to command him, he'd be gone that afternoon. What looks like deference in public is consent — he agrees to the structural role of "senior mod" because Rain asked and he concurred, not because Rain ordered.

Long-haul private continuity with Rain predating and outlasting any single stream arc (see DM reference in Extended Canon Notes). Heavy voice-call cadence.

Traits

  • Interests: Intellectually rigorous discussion; long-form debate; tooling (trolling trade); gaming; creative work; voice calls as default social channel
  • Quirks & Habits: Hands in pockets; off hand on the pommel; deadpan one-liner delivery; clocking tells half a beat before the room; refusing to romanticize the trolling craft
  • Fears:
  • Skills & Abilities: Veteran-troll field literacy (every tool of the trade); reading tells; peer-level conversation with Rain; senior-mod ceremonial authority (green sword); deadpan comedy; steady social anchoring

Speech

  • Catch Phrases: "100% mass hysteria, every mexican household has been told this. that's basically it"; "I just randomly say cloud rain dagon, it manifested in my head one day"; "I just came back from taking my cat from the vet"; "I gotta wake up at 4am tomorrow gg"; "6 ate 7 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA is better than SIX SEVEN"

Arc

Drive

  • Motivation: Present because the room is worth his time. Steps onto the floor today because Rain asked and he agreed.
  • Want: Move through the gauntlet without losing himself to the spectacle.
  • Need:

Opposition

  • Conflict: Ubear. Adrian respects the trade, not the creature — and Ubear's mixed antagonism toward Rain (a peer, not a sovereign, in Adrian's frame) has soured him in Adrian's sight. Social temperature is cold; the only person in the room who will not be surprised when Ubear crosses a line.

Extended History

Architectural role in the BR — contributes to stage / arena construction per the production plan. Dies during the arena run (see 0BattleRoyale.fountain).

Relationships

  • Raincloud — Peer / Co-equal Time-Sink — years of private continuity, heavy voice-call history; the teasing and familiarity in chat is equal-footing banter, not petitioning; when he steps forward to pin Azure's badge he does it because Rain asked and he agreed
  • Ubear / Malgru — Clinical Recognition (cold) — knows every tool in Ubear's kit from the inside; respects the trade, does not respect the creature; mutual literacy, cold temperature
  • Azure — Familiar Banter — long baseline of tolerance; would be the senior mod pinning Azure's badge on reinstatement
  • Starboy — Comfortable Distance — without becoming emotionally entangled
  • Beanie — Light Friendly Tie
  • Rooster — Court-Orbit Regular

Production

Requirements

  • Stunt Requirements: Sword handling (minimal draw — mostly pommel rest); arena construction work per BR architect role; death beat choreography
  • SFX Requirements: Green-sword glow / Twitch-mod-shield hue maintenance; mist-poof on death

Voice Casting

  • Provider:
  • Voice: Casual, playful, often flat and dry; comfortable in long-form when earned.
  • Direction: Never perform. Every joke lands because he doesn't try to sell it. Eyes do the work.

Department Notes

  • Camera: Hold on him longer than usual when he's "doing nothing." Eyes are the live wire.
  • Sound:
  • AD:
  • Editorial: Allow pauses; his comedy is timing-heavy.

Continuity Notes

Green sword is always on his hip. It is uniquely his — other creatures never pick it up or imitate it. In mod-authority moments, hand rests on the pommel.

Relationship read: Ubear (specific)

Adrian knows the trade by heart. He has been a working troll in his day, and knows every tool in Ubear's kit from the inside. He respects the trade. He does not respect the creature. Two reasons:

  1. Ubear's mixed antagonism toward Rain has soured him in Adrian's sight. Adrian doesn't take Rain's side on principle — he takes it because Rain is a peer, and Adrian doesn't tolerate cheap shots at a peer.
  2. He finds Ubear's aggressive, often meandering mannerisms tiresome on their own merits. The performance is exhausting even when the technique underneath is competent.

The two can discuss tooling with mutual literacy; the social temperature is cold. In-scene, Adrian's Ubear beats should read as clinical recognition, never warmth — and when Ubear crosses a line (as in Round 3 / the arena kill-line), Adrian is the one person in the room who was never going to be surprised.

Regard for Raincloud (peer-frame)

Read him as an equal, not a subordinate. The repeated Raincloud variants, identity jokes, and application-style bits are equal-footing banter, not petitioning. The DM archive supports this: long-form private continuity, heavy voice-call history, years of real co-presence. When he steps forward to pin Azure's badge, he does it because Rain asked and he agreed — the mod rank is a structural role, not a leash.
